SECTION 1 - IDENTIFICATION
Hot Pepper Wax is a liquid concentrate combined with water to effect a foliar spray to the leaves, stems,
fruits, and flowers of the plant until wet. Do not drench roots in soil or media. Hot Pepper Wax effectively
repels aphids, spider mites, thrips, white flies, lace bugs, and leaf hoppers. Hot Pepper Wax can be used
on the following fruits and vegetables, including; citrus fruits, roots and tuber vegetables, bulb vegetables,
leafy vegetables, brassica (cole), legume vegetables, fruiting vegetables. Apply Hot Pepper Wax using
spray equipment. Do not apply Hot Pepper Wax through any type of irrigation system.

SECTION 3 - HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS
Caution: Causes eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water
after handling.
SECTION 4 - APPLICATORS AND OTHER HANDLERS MUST:
Wear long-sleeved shirt and long pants
Wear waterproof gloves
Wear shoes plus socks
Follow manufacturer's instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables, use
detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.
SECTION 5 - STATEMENT OF PRACTICAL TREATMENT
IF IN EYES: Flush eyes with plenty of water. Call a physician if irritation persists.
SECTION 6 - ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS
This product may be toxic to aquatic organisms. Do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface
water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water by
cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes.
SECTION 7 - STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Do Not Contaminate Water, Food or Feed by Storage or Disposal.
Pesticide Disposal: Wastes resulting from this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved
waste disposal facility.
Container Disposal: Triple rinse (or equivalent). Then offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and
dispose of in a sanitary landfill or incineration, or, if allowed by state and local authorities, by burning.
SECTION 8 - AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS
Use this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard 40 CFR part
170. This standard contains requirements for the protection of agricultural workers on farms, forests,
nurseries, and greenhouses, and handlers of agricultural pesticides. It contains requirements of training,
decontaminating, notification, and emergency assistance. It also contains specific instructions and
exceptions pertaining to the statements on this label about personal protective equipment (PPE) and
restricted-entry interval. The requirements in this box only apply to uses of this product that are covered by
the Workers Protection Standard.
Restricted Entry Interval (REI) is zero (0) hours after the spray has dried.
PPE required for early entry to treated areas that is permitted under the Worker Protection Standard and
that involves contact with anything that has been treated such as plants, soil, or water, is: coveralls,
waterproof gloves, and shoes plus socks.
